Materials: 100% 316L surgical steel with 2mm faux fire opal.
These flishtail nostril piercings are great for people with thicker skin where the traditional 1/4" (6mm) nostril piercings are too short. Simply cut to the length you need with a pair of snips or pliers and use pliers to bend the end to make an L shape. You want the L bend to bend at the length you need your piercing to accommodate a comfortable fit (the thickness of your nostril). Start a little longer because you can always go shorter, do not cut it too short. Also do not hold the opal end with the plyers because you can break it off, just hold the shaft area. Once sized properly, you can use a regular emery board to file the cut edge to make it smooth.

To sanitize the jewelry before insertion, please use only warm water and antibacterial soap. Make sure to dry the jewelry after sanitizing. Do not boil the jewelry or use rubbing alcohol or saline, because these methods can damage the finish.
